MLB will still play a full 162 game season with the use of planned doubleheaders throughout the season and an extra series at the end of the season

With the new CBA baseball will now have the universal designated hitter. The postseason will expand to 12 teams, the pre-arbitration bonus pool has grown to $50 million, and a 6-pick draft lottery. The CBT will be $230 million in 2022, rising annually to $233 million, $237 million, $241 million, $244 million
